Overview

BNI is performed under general anaesthesia and involves using electro-cautery via an endoscopic instrument inserted via the urethra. This surgical procedure involves cutting through the internal sphincter of the male urinary tract to decrease/remove any obstruction to the flow of urine through the prostate.
