Colposcopy is an investigation to examine and take biopsies from the neck of the womb. Colposcopy allows the gynaecologists to carefully inspect your cervix, take samples for analysis, and perform innovative LLETZ treatment to remove pre-cancerous cells and prevent cervical cancer. Large loop excision of the transformation zone (LLETZ) is a type of surgery that removes a small part of the cervix.
