Osteotomy For Hip Dysplasia

Overview

An osteotomy for hip dysplasia (dislocation) is a surgical procedure that involves the reshaping of the hip socket (acetabulum) so that the ball and socket fit together correctly. Hip dysplasia is often present from birth, but symptoms of hip pain and restricted movement may develop in early adulthood.
